White Oak is a superior shopping center with an excellent mix of tenants, including Sears Department Store and Giant Food. Its tenant mix provides the ideal combination of service establishments for the surrounding neighborhoods of Silver Spring.

In 1993, Giant Food completed a major remodeling of the interior of their store. Additionally, the entire center was extensively remodeled with a traditional architectural look.
